is a domain name registrar transfer?
A domain name registrar transfer is a process that transfers
your registered domain name from one domain name registrar
to another. The
process of registrar transferring a domain name includes
domain name renewal/extension. You can elect to do a

registration period without losing previously purchased
domain name years. This process is only for domain name
registrants who are renewing or extending a domain name

registrar.

What does doing a registrar transfer cost?
As of November 3, 2000, the cost of a registrar transfer
is the same as a 1 year domain name registration, $25.50
Cdn. + GST. In order to do a domain name registrar transfer
we are required to bill you for a one year domain name
registration, adding a 1 year registration extension
on to the domain name your are registrar transferring
(ie. if you registrar transfer a domain name to us that
is 6 months away from renewal, after you pay us the
1 year registration fee and are transferred to us, you
won't have to renew your registration for 1 year and
6 months).
